Winners in 2013

Pulsat Percussion Group e Fussion Percussion Duo

The Jury decided not to assign the 1st Prize of the 3rd International Chamber Music Competition “Cidade de Alcobaça” (CIMCA) , held between october 27th and november 1st, 2013, yet, on the 2nd Place we had two percussion groups, ex-aequo: Pulsat Percussion Group (Portugal) and Fussion Percussion Duo (Espanha). 1stPrize in the Junior Category was awarded to IncertusTrio (Portugal).
The classification was ordered as it follows:

Senior Category

1st Place: Not awarded.
2nd Place (ex-aequo): Pulsat Percussion Group: André Dias, Nuno Simões, Pedro Góis e Renato Penêda & Fussion Percussion Duo: Rubén Lajara Ángel e Héctor Castelló Sánchez.
3rd Place: Trio 92: Maciej Skarbek (Piano), Magdalena Wiackowska (Violin) e Loukia Loulaki (Cello).

Junior Category

1st Place: IncertusTrio: Ana Rita Oliveira (Flute), Beatriz Baião (Flute) e Inês Pinto (Flute).
2nd Place: Stravinstrio: Ana Pires (Piano), Miguel Erlich (Violin) e Vítor Trindade (Clarinet).
3rd Place: Trio Púrpura: Patrícia Silva (Clarinet), Manuel de Almeida Ferrer (Violin) e Bárbara Costa (Piano).

Honorable Mention: Éclatant Ensemble: Filipa Lima (Flute), Telma Mota (Oboe), Cândida Nunes (Bassoon), André Maximino (Horn), Carlos Ferreira (Clarinet) e João Monteiro (Piano).

The jury was comprised of names such as António Rosa (President of the Jury and Artistic Director), Abel Pereira (Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música and ESMAE), Aníbal Lima (Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra), Antonio Pompa-Baldi (Cleveland Institute of Music), Jean-François Lézé (Escola Profissional de Viana do Castelo) and Luiz Fernando Pérez Herrero (Escuela Superior Reina Sofia, Madrid).

The Awards Ceremony and Winners Concert took place on november 1st at Cine-Teatro de Alcobaça – João d’Oliva Monteiro.
