The 5^th Chamber Music Competition “Cidade de Alcobaça” consists of three phases: a pre-selection from performances recorded in DVD format, a Eliminatory round and a Final round.  The Eliminatory and Final round will take place at Cine-Teatro de Alcobaça – João d’Oliva Monteiro, the program is of free choice; the groups are allowed to use original scores or transcriptions, being responsible for the quality of them and the compliance with the rules regarding the reproduction of the sam

In both categories is required the presentation of a work, at any stage of the competition, by a composer born or living in Portugal (warning: this information does not replace the necessary knowledge and reading of general rules).
