1st Prize in the Junior Category was not given by Jury’s decision getting Duo Liz and Trio Densité the 2nd and 3rd place respectively, and being Trio com Piano do Conservatório Nacional also awarded with an Honorable Mention

The Final of the Junior Category at the 2nd International Chamber Music Competition “Cidade de Alcobaça” (CIMCA), held during today’s morning at the Cine-Teatro de Alcobaça – João d’Oliva Monteiro, awarded Duo Liz with the 2nd place and Trio Densité with the 3rd place. The jury decided not to assign the Competition’s 1st Prize, giving to Trio com Piano do Conservatório Nacional an Honorable Mention.

In this case, Duo Liz will have the opportunity to perform at the CIMCA’s last day, April 15, at the Awards Ceremony and Winners Concert, at 21 pm, an event where they will be joined by the winner of the Senior Category.

The Final, in this last category, will happen tomorrow, April 14, Thursday, starting at 10.30 am, as always, at Cine-Teatro de Alcobaça – João d’Oliva Monteiro. We recall, once again, the six ensembles that will compete for the various prizes: Simantra Grupo de Percussão, Trio Musicalis, Trio Anès, Trio Pessoa, Duo XaSonaiP and Trio Lusitanus.
